I’ve never been yelled at to run. I am by nature more sedentary. However, given the appointment with my doctor this morning and the subsequent lifestyle changes which are required, I’ve joined a gym.
For anybody familiar with me and my ways, I’ll repeat that for effect. I’ve joined a gym.
I did 20 minutes of cardio work tonight, and I’ll be back tomorrow or Saturday. My doctor says five sessions a week of 30 minutes is the goal. 20 minutes is only the first step.
I have three months to change my life, pull my cholesterol back down, and lose some of the bulk.
Hercules might have faced smaller tasks than that.
