Bayard’s Colts – The Alchemist and The Devil

I’ve joined Bayard’s Colts. I play a folksy instrument, and I’m a resident of the fine Borough of Walsall, so it seemed only right.

Their (our) next production is The Alchemist and The Devil, a ripping yarn set in the noble Borough and starring the titular characters alongside Bayard, Sister Dora and Nell, the Tatman’s horse.

Rehearsals have begun in earnest at the Bookmark Theatre in Bloxwich, and the performances are scheduled for late November. Aside from slightly crude jokes about making cauldrons bubble, it’s entirely suitable for all the family.

Take a look at the website and think about coming along to see us. For those of you who know me in real life, you’ll be amused to know that both of my brothers are also engaged in this tomfoolery. In point of fact, Jimm was in there first and can be seen in full beard playing Robin in the photos from their first play in August.
